I am going to try this system and see how people like it. C-RKB was sometimes a challenge to update - especially the surname pages. This should be a more useful and user friendly venue.

Right now it is on a server with a 25mb limit. If it grows as expected - expect some downtime as it is migrated to a server with larger capacity when needed.

This is all a work in progress.

If you need assistance, have questions, can help with answers or just want to find out what's going on, one of the discussion areas we are setting up should help. Any needed area can be added - so just let me know.

Flames, insults and innapropriate posts WILL get the offender banned. We will strive to maintain balance and a friendly atmosphere for all Rusyn's to enjoy, learn from and help each other out .

Call For Moderators

Please note that we only have a few moderators set up. I am interested in hearing from people who think they might serve as good moderators. Please don't be offended if we don't say yes. We're looking for good trustworthy people - preferably people who have been involved in the old discussions and who have demonstrated a passion and a knowledge for the topics that will be discussed in the areas we will create. We will probably select people who we know have provided good solid factual information in the past. There are a lot of you who meet this criteria - each area can have multiple moderators. Moderating an area will not require you to post information. Just the willingness to maintain order and relevancy in your area - i.e monitoring/reporting abusive posts and moving posts to their appropriate areas if they occur.

This is a work in progress and is going to be a learning experience for all of us - but has vast potential for good things. I am no expert on this bb stuff so I also welcome input from php/board management experts. I do html - this php is a new challenge but slowly making sense....

And also - this forum IS NOT intended to compete with existing Rusyn Organizations - listeservers/forums. It is intended to enhance the online experience for all Rusyns worldwide. This is a long overdue enhancement to C-RKB and the Rusyn Community at large. ALL Rusyn Organizations worldwide are welcome to use this forum in any way that benefits them. This format has unbelievable potential.

The free, accurate and relevant distribution of information is the only goal.
