According to most ethnographers, Boikos and Hutsuls are regarded as two of the four (five) Carpatho-Rusyn groups [Lemkos (in Galicia and in Presov area), Boikos, Hutsuls, Transcarpathian Rusyns). However, the maps shown by Professor Magocsi, for example reproduced at the Carpatho-Rusyn Knowledge Base website:

exclude major portions of Boiko and Hutsul regions, that is only parts of Boiko and Hutsul region are shown.
