The village was a filail parish to the one in BLYZJANKA. The wooden church was renovated in 1902. It was an independent parish until 1791 when it became a filial parish to Blyzjanka. From 1925, because the people were attending the Roman Catholic church, services were held on alternate Sundays with Blyzjanka

In 1785 the village lands comprised 3.47 sq km. There were 176 Greek Catholics 30 Roman Catholics and 5 Jews
