Church was "Saint Nicholas" [1864] [still standing but in poor condition]

The masonry church replaced a wooden church dating to 1789. It was an independent parish until 1801 when it became a filial parish of JAYYN 3km away

In 1785 the village lands comprised 7.24 sq km. There were 260 Greek Catholics 54 Roman Catholics and 8 Jews
