The villages was a filial parish to TYRJAVA SIL'NA 6km away. It was an independant parish until 1791 when it became a filial parish of SEMUSHOVA. In 1813 it and Semushova became filial parishes of Tyrjava sil'na

In 1785 the village lands comprised 7.48 sq km. There were 175 Greek Catholics 11 Roman Catholics and 13 Jews
