Church was "Saint Michael " [1857] [ destroyed] Saint John the Baptist [1856] [still standing]

The wooden church of St. Michael was burned down in 1914 and a chapel (St. John) built in 1856 was used intil 1940 when the church of Saint John the Baptist was built. In 1985 since some Lemkos had returned, services were again allowed on holydays which fell on weekends. The parish was re-establihes as a Ukrainian Catholic parish in 1985.

In 1785 the village lands comprised 13.20 sq km. There were 508 Greek Catholics 2 Roman Catholics and 0 Jews
