Church was Patronage of the Blessed Virgin Mary [1880] [still standing]

The village was a filial parish to the one located in KRYVA (5km) The wooden church erected in 1880 was renovated in 1907. The church has been Orthodox since 1927. In 1776 it was an independant parish and became a filial parish to Kryva in 1819. In 1927-1928 most of the people switched to Orthodoxy.

In 1785 the village lands comprised 16.98 sq km There were 595 Greek Catholics 0 Roman Catholics and 11 Jews
