Church was "Saint Michael the Archangel" [1821] [ still standing]

The wooden church was renovated in 1860 and in 1906. The parish was established in 1595 when the Bishop of Krakow assigned one lan of property for its support.

In 1879 the church served a congregation of 1490 which increased to 2130 by 1939. Rev Volodymyr Khylak was born her July 15, 1843. He served as parish priest in DOLYNA, IZBY and BORTNE. He was also an accomplished author whose works included - "Polish Patriot", Rus'ka Dola , Schybenychnyj Werch.
