Church was "Saint Paraskeva" [1786 ] [ still standing ]
The wooden church is now used by Poles. The village was founded in 1504 and
a parish established in 1539. In the cemetery still stand a wooden chapel that
was erected in 1879. The village was renamed Uscie Gorlyc'ke and many Lemkos
have returned.
In 1785 the village lands comprised 25.89 sq km. There were 568 Greek
Catholics 20 Roman Catholics and 38 Jews
