The church was "Saint Demetrius" [1818] [still standing]

The wooden church was renovated in 1881. It replaced am older wooden church that collapsed in 1817. It is now used by Poles. In 1636 the landowner Stanyslav Ljubomyrs'kyj gave Rostoka to o. Andrij Uluc'kyj for 100 zloty.

In 1785 the village lands comprised 8.76 sq km. There were 408 Greek Catholics 0 Roman Catholics and 0 Jews
