The wooden church was renovated in 1896. There was also a wooden chapel of
Saint Elias first mentioned in 1936. Filail church to TURYNSKE 4km away.
Services are once again held here through the efforts of o. Teodor Majkovych
from KOMANCHA.
In 1785 the village lands comprised 20.96 sq km. There were 565 Greek
Catholics 4 Roman Catholics and 6 Jews
