The church was "Saint Michael" [1865] [still standing]

The wooden church replaced an older wooden church. It is now an Orthodox parish. The wooden chapel "Translation of Saint Nicholas" was erected in 1856. In 1879 there were 2 wooden chaples. One was Translation of S. Nicholas built in 1856 and the other was Saint Michael constructed in 1869 on the site of the older church.

In 1785 the village lands comprised 16.59 sq km. There were 660 Greek Catholics 3 Roman Catholics and 7 Jews
