Church was "Saint Nicholas" [1830] [still standing]

The wooden church was renovated in 1911 and was a filial church tp MOROXIV until the late 1840's and was then made a filial church to the one in VOLYCJA. The first church in the village was built in 1680.

In 1785 the village lands comprised 4.24 sq km. There were 140 Greek Catholics 5 Roman Catholics and 8 Jews
