Church was "Saint John Chrysostom" [1914] [still standing]

The masonry church replaced an older wooden church which in 1899 had been reported to be in very poor condition. In 1927 about half of the village converted to Orthodoxy. After WW-II the village was Orthodox and then Roman Catholic.

In 1785 the village lands comprised 33.52 sq km. There were 3678 Greek Catholics 115 Roman Catholics and 11 Jews

In 1936 there were 33 Roman Catholics, 560 Orthodox and 6 Jews in the area

The village was incorporated in to the Lemko Apostolic Administration in 1934
