The church was "Saint Paraskevija" [1700] [still standing]
The masonry church was built in 1914/1916 and replaced the older wooden
church. Only the bell tower of the older wooden church remains which was
dismantled. The masonry church still stands.
The village was a filial parish to MATASTIV 2km away.
In 1785 the village lands comprised 14.55 sq km. There were 439 Greek
Catholics 2 Roman Catholics and 10 Jews
