Church was "Translation of Saint Nicholas" [1934] [still standing]

The wooden church erected in 1934 was not yet completed in 1936. It replaced an older wooden church of the same name that had been purchased from Rusyn lands in the Hungarian Empire south of the Carpathians in 1792. This church was transported to the site.

In 1785 the village lands comprised 14.5 sq km. There were 310 Greek Catholics 0 Roman Catholics and 0 Jews
