Church was "Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary" [1795] [still standing]

The wooden church was renovated in 1884. In 1975 the church was burned by an arsonsit and today a Roman Catholic church stands on the site

The parish was establihed in 1602

O. Vasyl Mascjukh, the Apostolic Administrator of Lemkovyna (1934-1936) was born hereon March 30, 1873 and is buried in the church cemetery
