church and was visited in 1833 by Bishop Snihurs'kyj
The village is first mentioned on MArch 10, 1530 in the acts of the city of
Krakow.
In 1785 the village lands comprised 18.87 sq km. There were 808 Greek
Catholics 10 Roman Catholics and 7 Jews
