Church was "Saint Demetrius the Great Martyr" erected in 1845 [destroyed]

The parish was a filial parish to the village of TERKA. The wooden church was built in 1845 replacing the older wooden church (Saint Paraskeva) which existed as early as 1830

In 1785 the village lands comprised 9.04 sq.km. There were 190 Greek Catholics 14 Roman Catholics and 45 Jews
