Church was "Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary" [1810] [still standing]

The village was a filial parish to KLYMKIVKA 3.5km away. Also known as Losje z Ropoju. The wooden church was renovated in 1876, 1928 and 1934. It was an independent chapel until 1844. In 1947 the church was taken over by Roman Catholics.

In 1785 the village lands comprised 13.11 sq km. There were 555 Greek Catholics 10 Roman Catholics and 9 Jews
