In 1664 there is mention in the parish records of Hlomcha that the church in Lodyn was destoyed a long time ago - possibly by Tatars

In 1785 the village lands comprised 9.57 sq km. There were 259 Greek Catholics 20 Roman Catholics and 18 Jews
