The church was "Translation of Saint Nicholas" [1843] [still standing]

The Masonry church was renovated in 1923 and 1930. It replaced an older wooden church.

In 1389 land was donated to found the village which was later named Korolyk when it became property of the king. In 1433 the Bishop of Peremyshl came into possesion of the village. The village was divided into 2 parts - volos'kyj and pols'kyj. In Korolyk volos'kyj the parish was established through the efforts of Prokop Volokh in 1588, and that part of the village was named after him. After WW-II the church was turned into a warehouse for the storage of farm produce.

In 1785 the village lands comprised 6.86 sq km. There were 515 Greek Catholics 0 Roman Catholics and 8 Jews
