Filial parish to the one in ZHERNYCJA VYZHNA 3.5 km away. The wooden church was built in 1830 and was renovated in 1902. Currently used by Poles. There is also a 2 story bell tower.

In 1785 the village lands comprised 8.18 sq.km. There were 220 Greek Catholics 22 Roman Catholics and 7 Jews
