standing]
The masonry church replaced an older wooden church. A 4 room rectory was
built in 1840.
There is mention of a parish in 1682 when the Bishop of Krakow donated a
mill to the priest. Until WW-I there was a large bell here that was dated 1325
- its whereabouts are unknown.
In 1785 the village lands comprised 16.22 sq km. There were 525 Greek
Catholics 15 Roman Catholics and 9 Jews
