Bishop Michael Dudick Honored

Bishop Michael Dudick of the Byzantine Catholic Eparchy of Passaic (and a C-RS member!) recently celebrated his 50th anniversary of ordination to the Holy Priesthood. He was honored at a diocesan banquet, and a seminar was sponsored on June 26 for the occasion at the New York Public Library's Slavic and Baltic Division. Professors Richard Renoff and Robert Karlowich spoke on the contents of the Episcopal and Heritage Museum Libraries, as well as the microfilms (newspapers, jubilee books, language books, etc.) recently completed of various print materials there. C-RS member Bogdan Horbal spoke about the contents of the 42 microfilmed language books compiled for Carpatho-Rusyns. C-RS also sends its best wishes and congrats to Bishop Michael - truly a "dobryj Rusyn". Mnohaja lita, Vladyko!
